Custom and Original Art by Kara Robideau

                                        Born in 1974 in Grande Prairie Alberta, I've drawn for as long as I can remember. Started painting in acrylics about 8 years ago, usually from photographs that I have taken.  Never had any training as I did not want to copy someone else's style of painting and developed my own style over the years.  It started out as just a hobby for me, entering a few contests and doing pictures as gifts, and eventually ended up selling a few through word of mouth. Now as a stay at home mom, I have more time for it, and at the urging of friends and family, have decided to make a go of it, and have had a good response so far.  Most of my paintings are done on canvas, but I have also done work on saw blades, skulls, antlers, most anything. All my work is original and I will also do custom work.  I do portraits in pencil. Thanks for stopping in on my site and let me know what you think!
